Winter Solstice

For the Solstice this year, we celebrated simply.

• the making of star ornaments out of popsicle sticks and glitter (five different colors to represent the four elements and spirit)
• bell chains with five bells each (representing the four elements and spirit)
• drilled holes in wooden shapes (sun, moon, and stars) and tied with twine
• used all of our handmade ornaments to decorate a Solstice tree.
• dream pillows for the boys and relaxing bath for the mama
• use of less technology and more family togetherness
• lots of quiet time for reflecting.
