Harvest... to food that is gathered at the end of one growing season
There are some very simple ways to celebrate Harvest Time with your family. As a family tradition, we have begun visiting the local orchard several times a year.
- make a harvest blessing snack
- harvest crops from your garden
- make a commitment to banish bad habits and unwanted things from your life... write you commitment down on paper and bury it n the earth or burn it in your cauldron
- set intentions to help you finish long-standing projects by the fall.
- thank your garden for the bounty it has given
- hold a harvest feast for friends and family
- visit a local orchard or farmers market
- make homemade jellies or jams
