Yule Activities for Children

There are so many activities that can be doe at this time of the year with or without children.  It was hard to narrow it down, but here are some of my favorites:

• winter crafts for kids: tons activities listed
• Yule time activities for the kiddos: select from a variety of activities for the holidays
• create a yule themed bunting following these simple directions: I am going to choose patterned fabric in Yule colors and then hand stitch felt letters onto some of the bunting triangles.  Not sure what I want the bunting to say quite yet though.
• celebrate the solstice by making simple paper bag luminaries
• create a new tradition and make a German luminary using a recycled milk jug
• feed the birds with wonderful popcorn garland
• make Yule holiday cards
• create a delightful simmering potpourri.
